Prelaunch notice. These are an implementation-ready policy draft. The operating entity, governing law, and final liability language must be completed by qualified counsel before public launch.

1. The service

Linkifact validates, stores, and serves self-contained HTML documents as unlisted links. Guest links are scheduled to expire after 30 days. Free-account links use the retention shown in the product, and paid service is not available during beta. “Unlisted” does not mean private or access-controlled: anyone who has a viewer URL can open it.

2. Your account and owner links

You are responsible for activity through your account, API keys, and guest management links. A management link is a bearer secret that can delete or claim one artifact. Keep it out of public messages, logs, and source control. Tell us promptly at security@linkifact.com if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of content you publish. You give Linkifact a limited, worldwide license to store, reproduce, transmit, inspect with automated safety systems, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and enforce the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to publish it.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not publish credentials, private personal information, malware, phishing pages, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights. We may block publishing, quarantine content, suspend credentials, or preserve limited records when reasonably needed for safety, legal process, or abuse investigation.

5. Availability and retention

The beta may change, pause, or end. Retention is a maximum availability window, not a backup service. Keep your original HTML. Deletion and expiry stop public serving first; physical cleanup follows asynchronously as described in the Privacy Notice. Search-engine directives are requests to compliant crawlers and cannot guarantee that a copied URL or cached content will never appear elsewhere.

6. Disclaimers and responsibility

The beta is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Linkifact does not promise uninterrupted operation, recovery of deleted content, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing an artifact before publication and for any decision to share its URL. Final warranty, liability-cap, dispute, and governing-law terms remain a launch dependency identified in the prelaunch notice above.
